Allegra Giorgi Giani - Vice Director and Office Manager

Geboren 1974 in Mailand, wuchs sie in Lugano auf.

Nach der Matura studierte sie moderne Sprachen und Kulturen in Pavia. In der Zwischenzeit begann sie beim Filmfestival Locarno zu arbeiten (1999-2005), wo sie die Gelegenheit hatte, in verschiedenen Bereichen zu arbeiten: in der Sektion Kurzfilme, im Dokumentationsbereich, im Programmierungsbüro und im Archiv.

In diesen Jahren arbeitete sie auch in verschiedenen Rollen in der Produktion mehrerer Spielfilme ("Angeli non ne ho mai visti" von Matteo Bellinelli, "Forza Cani" von Marina Spada, "Oltre il confine" von Rolando Colla, "Mein Name ist Eugen" von Michael Steiner und "Le conseguenze dell'amore" von Paolo Sorrentino).

Im Jahr 2006 produzierte sie mit Mediatre eine Reihe von Dokumentarfilmen (Infrangibili) und mehrere Beiträge für ein Gourmet-Programm (I cucinatori) für das nationale Fernsehen RSI.

2011 gründete sie zusammen mit Filippo Giani ibexmedia.ch, wo sie auch in der Produktion als Vizedirektorin tätig war.

Von 2018 bis 2021 war sie Korrespondentin aus dem Engadin für die RSI Rete Uno Sendung "C'era una volta... oggi".

Seit 2022 ist sie Vizedirektorin des Museums "Mili Weber" in St. Moritz.

Aber natürlich setzt sie ihr Abenteuer in der Welt der Bilder mit ibexmedia fort.

Born in 1974 in Milan, she grew up in Lugano.

After high school she studied Modern Languages and Cultures in Pavia. In the meantime, she began working with the Locarno Film Festival (1999-2005), where she had the opportunity to work in various sectors: the Short Films section, the Documentation sector, the Programming Office and the Archive.

In those years she also worked in production, with different roles, for several feature films ("Angeli non ne ho mai visti" by Matteo Bellinelli, "Forza Cani" by Marina Spada, "Oltre il confine" by Rolando Colla, "Mein Name ist Eugen" by Michael Steiner and "Le conseguenze dell'amore" by Paolo Sorrentino).

In 2006 she produced with Mediatre a series of Documentaries (Infrangibili) and several contributions for a Gourmet program (I cucinatori) for the national TV RSI.

In 2011, together with Filippo Giani, she founded ibexmedia.ch, also working in production as vice-director.

From 2018 to 2021 she was correspondent from the Engadin for the RSI Rete Uno programme "C'era una volta... oggi".

Since 2022, she has been Vice-Director of the "Mili Weber" Museum in St. Moritz.

But of course she continues her adventure in the world of images with ibexmedia.

Dopo il liceo Linguistico studia Lingue e Culture Moderne a Pavia. Nel frattempo inizia a collaborare con il Festival del Cinema di Locarno (1999-2005) dove ha modo di lavorare per diversi settori: la sezione Cortometraggi, il settore Documentazione, l'Ufficio Programmazione e l'Archivio.

In quegli anni ha lavorato anche alla produzione, con ruoli diversi, per diversi lungometraggi (“Angeli non ne ho mai visti” di Matteo Bellinelli, “Forza Cani” di Marina Spada, “Oltre il confine” di Rolando Colla, “Mein Name ist Eugen” di Michael Steiner e “Le conseguenze dell'amore” di Paolo Sorrentino).

Nel 2006 produce con Mediatre una serie di Documentari (Infrangibili) e diversi contributi per un programma Gourmet (I cucinatori) per la TV nazionale RSI.

Nel 2011 fonda con Filippo Giani ibexmedia.ch, occupandosi anche in questo caso di produzione ricoprendo il ruolo di vice-direttrice.

Dal 2018 al 2021 ha ricoperto il ruolo di inviata dall'Engadina per la trasmissione della Rete Uno RSI “C'era una volta.. oggi”.

Dal 2022 è vice direttrice del Museo “Mili Weber” di St. Moritz.

Ma ovviamente continua l'avventura nel mondo delle immagini con ibexmedia.
